Who we are

FENÒLIA® was born from an idea by Corrado Giovinazzo, Doctor of Pharmacy, who—always passionate about natural products—at a certain point in his career decided to study the properties and benefits of Extra Virgin Olive Oil polyphenols, also in light of what was emerging from scientific studies.

Drawing on his experience and embracing what Hippocrates had stated centuries earlier:

"Let food be your medicine and your medicine be your food"

With the collaboration of the University of Messina and the University of Rome Tor Vergata, he created a line of products based on Italian organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The oil is produced personally in the Monti Iblei – Val Tellaro area in the south of Sicily, the same area that the Greeks once called Magna Graecia.

The climatic conditions, the geology of the area and the influence of the Mediterranean give the oil produced in this region characteristics that allow it to be included among nutraceutical foods.

The distinguishing feature of this oil—its high concentration of polyphenols—guides Fenolia’s research in formulating its products; polyphenols that, scientifically validated, have proven to support the wellbeing of the body in general.
