FENÒLIA® Olive Oil Shampoo 40, containing 40% extra virgin olive oil, has been specifically formulated to cleanse and naturally nourish hair, especially the most delicate hair of babies and children.

Rich in Vitamin E and Hydroxytyrosol, it delivers all the benefits of olive oil directly to the scalp; the blend of calendula, chamomile and borage oils helps soothe any irritation that causes itching and dryness.

The distinctive feature of FENÒLIA® Olive Oil Shampoo 40 is deep nourishment: as the scalp absorbs the components of extra virgin olive oil, it nourishes the hair shaft from within, giving softness and shine, even to treated hair. The presence of Vitamin A, provided by carrot oil, helps counteract ageing, leaving hair healthier and stronger.

Particularly indicated for cradle cap, the emollient properties of FENÒLIA® Olive Oil Shampoo 40 naturally hydrate the scalp and allow gentle removal of scales, while helping regulate glandular secretions to support baby hygiene.

To soothe discomfort caused by scalp irritation. Specifically designed to gently and naturally cleanse the most delicate hair, ensuring softness, shine and volume. Particularly suitable for children and for relieving discomfort associated with scalp irritation such as dryness, dandruff, itching states and seborrhoeic dermatitis.

Characteristics

FENÒLIA® Olive Oil Shampoo 40 is an anhydrous (water‑free) emulsion. Made with Italian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil standardised in polyphenols and Vitamin E and enriched with a synergistic blend of medicinal plant oils, it gently and naturally cleanses delicate hair, giving softness, shine and volume, and helping prevent inflammatory processes of the scalp.

Based on 40% Italian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil “Òlivi della Val Tellaro” (Iblei Mountains, Sicily) standardised in polyphenols and Vitamin E, rich in nourishing and emollient active substances, it helps gently remove cradle cap and excess keratin that forms on the scalp.

Other oils—Calendula, Chamomile and Borage—also emollient and hydrating, help soothe irritation, while Carrot oil, rich in carotenoids, provides Vitamin A. Tocopherol (Vitamin E) helps prevent free radical formation.

Component specificity

The Italian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil “Òlivi della Val Tellaro” used in FENÒLIA® Olive Oil Shampoo 40 is obtained strictly from Moresca cultivar olives (>70%) grown in the Iblei Mountains in Sicily, Val Tellaro sub‑area, within the PDO territory covering Noto, Rosolini, Pachino and Ispica, according to Organic Farming principles and exclusively by mechanical processes.

Careful control of cultivation, harvesting and milling parameters results in a pronounced presence of polyphenols, Vitamin E, monounsaturated fatty acids (oleic) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (linolenic), certified by chemical‑physical analyses carried out at the Department of Chemical, Biological, Pharmaceutical and Environmental Sciences (ChiBioFarAm) of the University of Messina.

Directions for use, warnings and period after opening (PAO)

Distribute FENÒLIA® Olive Oil Shampoo 40 evenly on wet hair and massage gently and thoroughly into the scalp. Rinse well with lukewarm water before drying. Shake before use. Any colour variation and/or opalescence is due to the natural nature of the product. Avoid contact with eyes. Store in a cool, dry place away from light and heat sources. After first opening, use within 12 months.
